DXC is partnering with Harvard Business School in 2026 to research how design executives are addressing enterprise AI transformation challenges by investigating strategic frameworks and discovery-driven leadership practices.

Why now? As AI reduces the cost of building to near zero, the strategic bottleneck is shifting toward discovery and understanding evolving customer needs in real time. This research explores how leading organizations can rebalance this dynamic, and how design leaders can position themselves as executive catalysts for continuous discernment.

In this Council town hall, Gordon and HBS Professor Shai Bernstein will provide an overview of our partnership and get inputs from members on where the research is headed, share what they're seeing inside their own organizations, and help shape the questions that matter most to the design and experience executive community.
