Overview
Emergence happens when separate capabilities join together to unlock entirely new possibilities. That is the shape of the role now: scope, accountability, and decision rights sitting outside its inherited boundaries. Design executives are arriving as strategic leaders operating at new altitudes and layers of the business. Left into strategy, capital allocation, and the AI governance agenda. Right into engineering, data, analytics, operations, and go-to-market. A major leadership vacuum exists, and we believe this is the space to co-define that new posture. The 2026 program works to bring together these edges so members leave better able to understand, expand, and articulate the role they are actually holding.
The DXC Annual Summit is a distinct gathering where senior design, product, and experience executives set their own agenda. Our Council chooses what gets discussed, based on what is actually pressing on the role and the careers built on it. DXC supplies the evidence: the patterns from a year of member discussions and research, put in front of the room so conversations start from what we already know.
Over three days in the vibrant city of New Orleans, members define the questions facing the role, work through them with peers who operate under the same conditions, and leave with a shared read on what is changing and what it demands of them. As the Council co-creates the roadmap that matters to them, what surfaces at the Summit becomes DXC's programming for the following year.
