With 30 years of professional experience, Jeff Gelfuso has spent his career creating all types of experiences. Software. Product. Digital. Lifestyle. Brand. His passion is inspiring and leading teams to design and deliver innovative and meaningful experiences that enrich people's lives and elevate their potential.
At Workday he leads the Experience Design and Development Group, responsible for the experience across the suite of Workday products. This includes online, mobile, and cross-platform experiences as well as incubating new innovation for 65 million users worldwide.
Before joining Workday, Jeff led multi-disciplinary design, product, and engineering teams at Facebook , Amazon, and Microsoft. His experience includes creating engaging digital products, innovative end-to-end customer experiences, and building systems and tools across devices and platforms for consumers and businesses across a variety of industries. Jeff specializes in building high-performing teams and world-class product experiences through a human-centered, design-led approach.
Over the course of his career, Jeff has been involved with mission-driven organizations. Jeff served on the Board of Trustees at Cornish College of the Arts in Seattle, and he also served on the Digital Innovation Advisory Council for St. Jude Children's Research Hospital. He is active in the design and technology industry; speaking at conferences and on podcasts, participating in panels, mentoring and advising other leaders. Jeff studied design, visual communication and brand identity at California Polytechnic State University (Cal Poly).
On a more personal note, Jeff enjoys spending his free time on a board – surfing, paddleboarding, snowboarding. He also loves spending time listening to and playing music - especially when cooking, entertaining, and enjoying a meal together. But there’s nothing he enjoys more than spending quality time with his wife, four children, family and friends.
