Banco de Crédito (BCP)

Belén Tello is the Head of Design at BCP (Banco de Crédito del Perú), the country’s largest financial institution and part of CrediCorp Group. She leads one of the largest design organizations in Latin America, with a strategic focus that spans product design, research, service design, and phygital design.

Currently based in Montreal, Belén leads transformation initiatives across digital and physical channels for BCP, bringing a unique dual-market perspective that connects Latin American realities with global design and innovation standards from one of the world’s most mature ecosystems. This view deeply informs her strategic approach, allowing her to bridge local impact with global relevance.

She recently led the redesign of BCP’s nationwide branch network (+200 locations), delivering a more human, accessible, and “phygital” experience, which contributed to NPS levels above 80 points. Under her leadership, design has gained a strategic seat at the table, helping shape the bank’s most critical initiatives.

Belén’s leadership is grounded in empathy, clarity, and connection. She thrives in complexity and leads with the conviction that design is a bridge, between business and people, ambition and execution, present and future. She cultivates cultures of trust, collaboration, and purpose, building high-performing teams that feel deeply connected to the impact they create. Belén is also a strong advocate for elevating Latin American design leadership on the global stage.
