Eric Kabisch is a product and design executive with over 25 years of experience driving innovation across gaming, social platforms, creator tools, and UGC ecosystems. He has led design, research, and brand teams at companies like Roblox, Google, VRChat, and Scopely, helping launch new business lines, scale global platforms, and evolve design orgs through periods of rapid growth and transformation. He holds a PhD in Computer Science and serves on the advisory board of UC Irvine’s Master of Human-Computer Interaction and Design program.

Eric combines strategic vision with deep product, design, and technical expertise, bringing a systems-level view to complex ecosystems. At Roblox, he scaled the design team fivefold to over 100 people and helped lead the company through a successful IPO, tripling users and revenue to 220 million MAUs and $3.6B annually while evolving the platform and brand to engage a broader global audience and increasing the share of users over age 13 to more than 60%. He is recognized for setting bold north stars and designing products and platforms that combine consumer-grade experience with enterprise-scale complexity. His work spans business models including subscriptions, digital goods, virtual economies, and advertising, while also delivering user delight, social connection, and community engagement. He coaches designers to expand beyond authorship toward systems thinking and AI-augmented workflows, with a particular focus on how AI is transforming the creative process itself.

A longtime creative technologist with a background in electronic art and systems research, Eric is also a musician and a human geography nerd. He lives in Los Angeles with his wife, three kids, and three dogs. Outside of work, you might find him tinkering with creative tech, building games and robots with his kids, biking along the beach, or playing music with his band.
