Richard currently leads the Consumer Design team at Verizon, a group of 600 designers who create software and hardware solutions for 100,000 employees and 130 million customers. Prior to Verizon, Richard held key leadership roles as the head of Design at Capital One and USAA, and as the head of Experience Strategy at Vanguard. Before moving to the U.S. in 1999, he co-founded one of the first web agencies in the UK. It was there he discovered his entrepreneurial spirit and learned how to blend innovative design with business realities.
