Jason Mowery

Jason Mowery is a Design leader with more than 25 years of experience across both agency and enterprise environments, known for combining holistic thinking, human-centered design, and strong leadership to drive meaningful business outcomes. As Director of Emerging UX at Nationwide, he and his team help partners identify the right problems to solve, shape end-to-end solutions, and make smarter bets on emerging technologies, with a particular focus on human-AI teaming, research, facilitation, and strategic transformation.

Throughout his career, Jason has led cross-disciplinary teams, created winning customer experiences, and partnered with organizations ranging from global spirits brands to Fortune 100 enterprises. He is passionate about building high-performing teams and creating the conditions for trust, collaboration, and human-led decision-making.

He holds an interdisciplinary degree in Sociology and Philosophy from Kenyon College. Jason lives with his wife and companion animals in Columbus, Ohio where he occasionally plays the drums and cheers on the Columbus Crew.
